Najmuddin joined BOSWM MY in December 2023. He brings over 23 years of experience in global and local asset management, holding leadership positions including CEO role. Throughout his career, he has played key roles at institutions such as Bank Negara Malaysia and other leading global and local asset management firms. As an experienced CEO, Najmuddin's experience spans investment management across various asset classes, encompassing global and domestic equities, fixed income, money markets, and structured funds. He has overseen numerous aspects of the asset management business, including investment management, sustainability, shariah and quantitative investing, product development that includes private mandate and mutual funds, digital and online investment platform, fund operations, financial management, risk management, compliance, human resources, branding and communications, and business development. Najmuddin holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, USA, along with certifications in Module 9 and 10 from the Securities Commission Malaysia and the Cambridge Advanced Leadership Programme from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK.

Jo Ann joined BOSWM MY in January 2003. She is responsible for the investment strategy, portfolio construction, dealing and execution, investment governance and implementation for all portfolios managed in Malaysia. She started her investment career as an equity analyst before moving on to fixed income research and fund management in 2004. She brings with her over 20 years of industry experience in Malaysian fixed income investment research and fund management. Over the years, she has been a key member in the management of the bond and money market portfolios and has experience handling Shariah and non-Shariah compliant portfolios and feeder funds. She holds a Bachelor of Management (Honours) in Finance (Universiti Sains Malaysia) and is a CFA® charterholder (CFA Institute).

Ian has over 17 years of banking experience with HSBC, Citigroup and Royal Bank of Canada leading business functions which include Global Custody Corporate Actions, Tax Operations, Securities Lending and Trade Settlements. He joined BOSWM MY on 13 May 2024 as Vice President, Fund Operations which essentially performs fund accounting and valuation functions for unit trust and private mandates. He has a wealth experience in Operations, people management and has guided numerous staff along their career journey. An advocate in streamlining operating model, business strategies, utilizing best practices to improve Operations teams and talent engagement. He also has served in different locations including Offices in London, Sheffield, Dublin and Kuala Lumpur in his previous organisations. Ian earned his LL.B (Hons) from University of London.

Yap Sieh Wai joined BOSWM MY in June 2020. She brings with her more than 25 years’ experience in audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance, where she started her career as an external auditor with Coopers and Lybrand and moved into the field of internal audit and risk management with a local insurance company. In 2005, she advanced to the banking regulatory compliance field where she pioneered and led regulatory compliance functions for both local and locally incorporated foreign banks in Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting Major) LaTrobe University, Australia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering.

Sofiane Taleb joined BOSWM MY in September 2022. He is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the operational, business, and market/investment risk management governance and framework for BOSWM MY. He has over 18 years of work experience with key expertise in Risk Management gained in Financial Institutions and Investment Banking in Europe and South East Asia. He has created and implemented a complete risk management unit covering all types of risks in various financial industries such as Consumer Finance, Retail, Investment, and Islamic Finance. Prior to joining BOSWM MY, he was in charge of a strategic Digital Transformation Project for a Spanish Bank in Paris enhancing his experience in digital risk and project management. He holds a Master's in Engineering in Computer Science from Ecole des Hautes Etudes d’Ingenieur (Lille), a Master's in Strategy & Management of International Business from ESSEC Business School (Paris), and a Certificate in Advanced Management from IESE Business School (Barcelona).

Joanne Kok joined BOSWM MY in Sept 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) of Business Administration from University of East London and she is a SHRM-CP certified professional who brings with her 20 years of banking experience. She has built her career over a span of 15 years with OCBC Bank Malaysia Berhad from a Business Leader driving revenue and managing clients from different segments, and subsequently expanding her career experience to be a HR Business Partner. During her tenure in HR, she has partnered the business to successfully roll out numerous programs that helps to build a sustainable talent pipeline, employee engagement and performance management. 

Kelly Lye joined BOSWM MY in 1995. She is responsible for the financial activities and financial operations of the Company. She has over 25 years of experience in asset management industry with focus on finance and fund operations including implementing procedures and initiatives that enhance efficiency and efficacy across finance and fund operations in her previous capacity. She holds a CeMBA from Wawasan Open University and Advanced Diploma in Chartered Institute of Management Accounting.

James Heng joined BOSWM MY in 2018. He brings with him over 16 years of experience related to fund and portfolio management and financial institution. He has played key roles in product development & management throughout his career. James’s experience spans across different financial products, including mutual funds, private retirement schemes, as well as mandate offerings. James holds a Degree in Business Administration from the Anglia Polytechnic University, UK.
